Russian Engineers Meet SUNROVER—Why So Confident?

Tempo: October 13, 2026

On October 12, 2026, a Russian client, accompanied by their team, including electrical engineers, visited SUNROVER’s headquarters and factory in China. The visit marked an important step in deepening technical exchange and exploring cooperation in rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic and energy storage projects. SUNROVER’s professional sales team coordinated the visit, while its experienced engineering and O&M team guided the visitors through practical project references and manufacturing facilities.

The first day began at SUNROVER’s headquarters, where the client received an overview of the company’s integrated capabilities in solar and storage. The sales team presented SUNROVER’s product portfolio, project experience, and global service network, highlighting the company’s ability to support clients from initial consultation and system design to equipment supply, construction, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance. The engineering and O&M team then accompanied the visitors to a 2.6 MW rooftop distributed PV project in Hefei, Anhui Province. This project uses Sungrow 110 kW grid-tied inverters and SUNROVER N-type 550 W solar panels, representing a practical example of SUNROVER’s ability to deliver reliable distributed generation solutions.

At the project site, SUNROVER’s engineering manager engaged in in-depth technical discussions with the client’s electrical engineers. The discussions covered system topology, inverter selection, module performance, grid connection requirements, safety protection, monitoring, and O&M strategy. Because the project was already in operation, the visitors could observe actual performance, layout, cable routing, and maintenance access. The engineering and O&M team explained how the system had been designed and built according to site conditions, local grid rules, and customer requirements. This direct experience demonstrated SUNROVER’s hands-on capability in independently building various types of solar-plus-storage projects, not only in design but also in procurement, construction, testing, and ongoing service.

In the afternoon, the client visited SUNROVER’s PV module manufacturing plant. The visit provided a firsthand view of SUNROVER’s technology, production processes, and quality control. The client observed key stages including cell sorting, soldering, lamination, framing, testing, and packaging. The N-type 550 W modules used in the Hefei rooftop project were of particular interest because of their high efficiency, temperature coefficient, and long-term reliability. The factory visit allowed the client to assess product quality, manufacturing discipline, and traceability. After seeing the rooftop project and the module factory, the client acknowledged SUNROVER’s technical strength, delivery capability, and commitment to quality. This direct verification gave the client greater confidence when discussing future cooperation.

On the morning of October 13, 2026, the client and SUNROVER’s PV technical engineers held detailed discussions regarding the design and implementation of upcoming rooftop and ground-mounted PV projects. The conversations focused on specific project conditions, including site location, load profiles, grid connection constraints, roof structure, land conditions, energy storage requirements, and expected return on investment. Based on the specifics of these actual projects, SUNROVER developed tailored solar-plus-storage engineering solutions and corresponding products for the client. These solutions considered not only PV modules and inverters but also battery storage, mounting structures, cables, combiner boxes, monitoring systems, and other supporting components. The goal was to provide a complete, bankable, and easily deployable configuration that matched the client’s real needs and project locations.

SUNROVER’s professional sales team and experienced engineering and O&M team were central to this process. The sales team ensured clear communication, coordinated technical resources, and aligned commercial expectations with project realities. The engineering and O&M team applied lessons from previous rooftop, ground-mounted, distributed, and storage projects to optimize system design, reduce construction risk, and improve long-term performance. SUNROVER has independently built various types of solar-plus-storage projects and can therefore customize engineering solutions and supporting accessories according to each client’s actual demand and site conditions. This capability is especially important for international clients seeking reliable partners who can adapt to different climates, grid codes, and installation environments.

For the Russian client, the visit offered more than a factory tour. It provided a transparent view of SUNROVER’s project execution, product quality, and service mindset. After inspecting the 2.6 MW rooftop PV project and the module manufacturing plant, the client expressed recognition of SUNROVER’s strength and became more confident in advancing cooperation. The subsequent discussions on October 13 were therefore conducted with greater certainty and mutual understanding. SUNROVER remains committed to supporting global customers with professional sales service, experienced engineering and O&M support, and customized solar-plus-storage solutions that are practical, reliable, and tailored to real project conditions.
